Privacy notice (KVKK)

Under Article 10 of Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK), OPIA ECO Medikal Tekstil A.Ş., as data controller, informs you as follows.

What data we process

When you send the request form we process your name, work email, organisation, your request choices (request type, area of use, use model, product family, estimated quantity and unit, target country and date), the product line you selected (product, variant code, quantity and preferences) and your notes; the language of the page you used is stored with the request. The request is recorded in the site's request system (a database on Cloudflare infrastructure). To prevent misuse of the form, a security check with Cloudflare Turnstile runs when you send it; Cloudflare processes your connection details for this check. Your IP address is not written to the request record; to limit attempts, only a keyed digest derived from it is counted for a ten-minute window. When you email us, the name, organisation, contact details and message you share are processed. For organisation accounts that use the customer area, the account email, session data and the account's request, quotation and support conversation records are processed.

Visitor chat

When you write to the assistant on this site, we process your messages, the page language and a session cookie (opia_visitor_newsoul, HttpOnly) that links the conversation to your browser. Before a conversation starts, a Cloudflare Turnstile security check is made. Replies are generated with Cloudflare Workers AI from the products and articles published on this site; your messages are sent to the model only to produce the reply. The conversation is kept in the site’s own storage on Cloudflare’s infrastructure and deleted automatically after seven days; “Clear chat” deletes it at once. Do not share personal or confidential information in the chat; for a quote, use the request form.

Purpose and legal basis

Your data is processed to answer your request, to conduct quotation, sample or partnership discussions and to meet our legal obligations. The legal bases are that processing is directly related to concluding a contract, that it is needed to fulfil our legal obligation, and our legitimate interest provided it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms (Law Art. 5/2-c, ç and f).

Transfers

Your data is shared with the relevant units within the company to the extent your request requires, and transferred to competent public authorities where the law requires. The site and the customer area are hosted on Cloudflare infrastructure; the servers of hosting and email providers may be located abroad, in which case transfers are made in line with Article 9 of the Law. Your data is not sold or given to third parties for marketing.

Retention period

Requests and correspondence are kept until your request is concluded and while the business relationship continues; once the legal period for commercial correspondence ends (ten years under Article 82 of the Turkish Commercial Code), they are deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

Your rights

Under Article 11 of the Law you have the right to learn whether your data is processed, to request information, to learn the purpose of processing, to know the parties it is transferred to, to request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate, to request deletion or destruction, to request that these actions be notified to the recipients, to object to a result of automated analysis, and to claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.

How to apply

You can send your application in writing, with details that allow us to verify your identity, to the email address or postal address in the imprint. Applications are concluded free of charge within thirty days at the latest.

Cookies and browser storage

The site uses no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. The request form keeps your draft only in the open tab (sessionStorage) for 30 minutes; it is deleted after a successful submission or with “Clear draft”. When you sign in to the customer area, a strictly necessary session cookie keeps you signed in. The site is hosted on Cloudflare infrastructure; the provider may keep technical connection logs for security and operation. The visitor chat uses a strictly necessary session cookie (opia_visitor_newsoul) for seven days, only once you start a conversation.

Terms of use

Product families, images and descriptions on this site are for information; they are not an offer or a contract. Product specifications, documents and commercial terms are confirmed per product at the sample and quotation stage. Images marked “Concept visual” are not product photographs.
